How the National Meeting Facilitator Database Works
fa-cil-i-tate (fe sil'e tat') Latin. Facilis
-- to make easy
Finding
the perfect meeting facilitator for your specific needs has never been this easy.
Whether
you need strategic planning, meeting facilitation, requirements gathering, or
team building, NFDB.com can help you find the perfect fit for your organization
anywhere in the country. All at no
additional cost to you, the client!
Here’s
how it works.
Step 1: Facilitator Entry

Meeting facilitators
all over the country have entered information about their skills, areas of
expertise, sample clients, projects, certifications and billing rate so that
you will have access to information about them. Once a facilitator faxes a signed access agreement to Leadership
Strategies – the managers of NFDB.com – a Relationship Manager (RM) makes
the facilitator’s information available for searching and access.
Step 2: Selection and Contracting – You Choose the
Level of Support!
Our Virtual Facilitator
can help you formulate your meeting facilitation request, step-by-step. She asks all
the relevant questions about the event and integrates the answers into an easy,
one-click submission. You then have the
choice of three selection options:
|
I
Client
Direct
|

|
|
You can search NFDB.com to identify potential meeting facilitators. Your completed request is forwarded
directly to the identified facilitators.
Once the facilitators reply, you interview the facilitators and then
select and contract directly with the chosen facilitator.
|
|
II
Partial
Support
|

|
|
You can search NFDB.com to identify potential facilitators. Then, our Relationship Manager works on
your behalf to contact the facilitators, determine availability, select a
facilitator and host a telephone conference with you to confirm fit. We contract
with the facilitator and follow through to ensure effectiveness.
|
|
III
Full
Support
|

|
|
You can turn the entire process over to our Relationship Manager who
works with you to define your need, and then does everything on your behalf
from searching NFDB.com to contracting with the facilitator.
|
Step 3: Service Delivery, Compensation and
Follow-up
Once the facilitator has delivered services to you,
compensation and follow-up proceeds based on the option you chose above.
|

|

|
|
You compensate the facilitator directly. The facilitator pays a finder’s fee to NFDB.com. A Relationship Manager contacts you for
feedback on the facilitator’s performance.
The feedback is made available to other clients using NFDB.com.

Our Money Back Guarantee
Why hire just a facilitator when you can get a
Certified Master Facilitator
with a money back guarantee?
When you use partial or full support from Leadership Strategies and
select a Certified Master Facilitator, we guarantee the facilitator’s
performance. If the Certified Master Facilitator
fails to deliver services that meet the six competencies of the Certified
Master Facilitator program (i.e. presence, assessment, communication,
control, consistency, and engagement), and that failure significantly impacts
the success of your session, Leadership Strategies will return to you
100% of the fees paid for the facilitator’s services, excluding
expenses.
To qualify for the money back guarantee,
facilitation services must be cancelled after the first day of facilitated
activity and the request for refund must be received in writing by a Leadership
Strategies Relationship Manager via mail, fax or electronic mail within
three business days of the first facilitated activity.
